SECOND CHANCE MINISTRY was founded in 1994 by Thomas K. Jackson Sr.

As a result of a horrific car wreck, our Lord told Thomas that he was to go back to the prisons and take the Gospel of Jesus to His people.

In 1996, Thomas graduated Rhema Bible School in Tulsa, OK.

Since 1989, we have been taking the gospel in the form of preaching and teaching into the prisons and jails with the intent of setting the captives free!

So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.

                                                                                                 Ezekiel 22:30

May our response be "Here am I Lord, send me"

MY TESTIMONY

Dear Friends,

I feel like the Prodigal SON of the 21st Century and give thanks to all who our Lord has used to bring me to this place where He wanted me. Being the lost son of the world that I was, I hurt everyone that I came in contact with. I used to boast that if there were a spirit of the devil that it would be me. At that time, I had been brought back to life twice and I thought that I was 10 feet tall and bulletproof! I was extremely ignorant to the Word of God never knowing that this very soft voice that I kept hearing was the Holy Ghost trying to get my attention. I just kept boasting about how great I thought I was! I belonged to motorcycle gangs controlled by drug abuse, it was costing me my life and I could not see the damage that it was doing to those who loved and cared about me. I had a career in the Navy but I wasted away that opportunity. By 1973, 3 wives and 4 children, I picked up a gun and with 2 shots my whole life changed in a second. After 8 years of doing time in prison, upon my release I returned right back to the life that I had been living before. I never even took time to look up my children.

52 days after release from prison, I was arrested again for attempting to murder an under-cover agent, but at the trial the officer testified in my defense? I ran from California to Arizona on my release but I kept going right back to my evil ways.

Then on July 15, 1989 at 4:30AM while on my way to Oklahoma City for drugs I had my encounter with God! I cried out to the Lord and He answered me and set me straight! God began to show me the love that He has for me. Special thanks to Barbara, my parents, my children and to the Lord for what he has done with my life!     Thomas Jackson
